Follow me on Bookbub and Goodreads!

Looking to increase my visibility on Bookbub and Goodreads.
I would appreciate a follow!
Amazon isn't alerting my followers when I release a book for some reason. But Bookbub and Goodreads should.
Thanks.

**As soon as I get a decent proof back from Amazon with hardcover versions of Anubis/Nox I will set up a form to order signed paperback and/or hardback versions of Nox/Anubis and In the Absence of Light/By the Light of Dawn.

It's your piss-poor-about-posting author!

Sorry, it has been so long since I posted any updates. Anubis has been a challenge. But I am so close to finishing my edits. Then it will go out to my editors and betas.

IT IS COMING! lol

I am sending out Patreon rewards soon. Everyone will get something in the mail. When Anubis finally publishes, people who've been at the $12/month tier for at least 3 months will get a signed copy. Everyone at the $7 or $12 tiers will get an ecopy of Anubis a week before it comes out. There are discounts at each tier you can use to buy a signed copy. Head over to my Patreon and check out what kind of goodies you can get.

This year, Patreons are getting postcards of my mermen, a secret short comic I drew called Dragon Singer, cool pride bracelets, and a sweet treat. And Sharon always fancies the packages up for you.

Here is a link to what each tier is getting

2021 wasn't a good year for publishing for me...I had no books come out. BUT I might have three next year (not including Anubis). My plan is for the last two Bound Gods books and maybe the third Nox book.
So if you've been thinking about joining my Patreon, this would be a good time to start.
I have plans for some cool Bound Gods artwork that might go out monthly for certain tiers. Keep an eye out for more info.
You can follow my Patreon page for free to get any public updates about what's going on there. Or join my FB group where all info is shared.

Queer SciFi and fantasy author J. Scott Coatsworth interviewed me on his blog. I talk about Nox and myself. If you get a chance to stop by his blog, say hello in the comments and ask me any more questions you might have!

Sign up for my Newsletter and get an excerpt from The Darkest Hour.

After much crying and headbanging, MinionS set up a newsletter to keep everyone up-to-date with my new releases. There will be an occasional surprise newsletter sent with excerpts, artwork or giveaway.

When you sign up you will receive an excerpt from a current WIP.
Right now it is an excerpt from The Darkest Hour - Jeff's Story.

You don't have to read In the Absence of Light to enjoy The Darkest Hour.
But consider giving it a try. Of all the characters I've created, Morgan is closest to my heart. I don't think I'll ever write another character like him. But I'll try.

***5.0 out of 5 stars This Book Changed Me***
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is in my top three of books that had a profound effect on me (I'm still waiting to find that third book). Grant and Morgan's story was beautiful to read. I'm ashamed to say that I almost passed up this story after reading the blurb once I saw that Morgan had autism; however the reviews I read convinced me to give it a try and I'm so very glad I did. - Candy Cane

Graphic Novel updates: Bound Gods

This is minion Sharon. Adrienne and Pello stopped by to discuss cool things happening on the Patreon. An artist has been hired for the Bound Gods graphic novel! More details will be coming. Pages for the Doxie Diaries story Jinx and Ira are already posting. And an Alton origin story is posting. I am Team Alton...fight me!

The problem with stockart...a cover designer's dilemma.

Well, that cover everyone loved for WILD had to be changed. I found out there is another cover through Dreamspinner that uses the same model in almost the exact same way as mine. Theirs was out first. This is a problem many cover artists run into. Stock art is open for anyone to buy and use. You don't get exclusive rights to it.

When an author makes or buys cover art, they don't want their book to be confused with someone else's. So, I had to change my cover. The cover concept I used is perfect for the story, so I stuck with it. No one else will have this model because I created him by cobbling together pieces of other photos; someone who truly looks like Keegan.

The new cover is the same, but not the same.

I hope you understand why I had to change my cover and will love my new version too.

Here are some of my attempts
